On October 2 nd 1975 Sri Vivekananda Sevashrama started its medical aid activities for the economically weaker section of our community at Vasantapura off Kanakapura main road.Vasantapura, sanctified by an ancient Vasantavallabharayaswamy temple, was a small hamlet in 1975 when Sevashrama started its Sunday Medical Centre. Now it is part of Bangalore suburb.

Sevashrama celebrated its 30 th anniversary on 2 nd October 2005 at Vasantapura temples.

Another medical centre was opened in the year 1977 at Tataguni, a village, 16 KM from Bangalore. It is a great thing that we have rendered continuous service without break .
